Published: February 14, 2005
Arrowhead Shores is a residential development off Farm Road 2580 and on the western shoreline of Lake Granbury about five miles northwest of Granbury in northern Hood County. It began sometime after the completion of Lake Granbury in 1969. An old family graveyard that dates to the 1880s, the Herring Cemetery, lies within the confines of Arrowhead Shores. In 2000 the community had 518 residents.
