History of Beyer, Texas: From Gristmill to Ghost Town

Beyer, on the north bank of the San Antonio River in southern Bexar County, was the site of a gristmill established by August Beyer before 1877. With the growth of the city of San Antonio the site was incorporated, and by the 1930s was no longer shown on maps.
