The Rise and Fall of Calvin: A Historical Overview of a Red River County Community

Calvin, a farming community on a mail route from Clarksville in Red River County, reported one business and a population of seventy-five in 1930. By 1940 its population had dropped to fifty, and by 1984 Calvin no longer existed.
